Bartoline Multi Purpose Linseed Oil Putty is a traditional blend of high-quality linseed oil and fillers, used for generations. Specially formulated for glazing both wood and metal window frames and used by both the professional tradesman as well as the home owner. Equally useful as a general wood filler. Application: Bedding and external fronting single glass into primed softwood and hardwood frames which will subsequently be painted. For glazing primed metal frames and single glass into concrete or stone surrounds after prior sealing with an appropriate sealer. Not for use directly against laminated glass, for bead glazing systems or on insulated glass units.

PROFESSIONAL-GRADE GLAZING PUTTY: Specially formulated for bedding and external fronting of single glass panes into wood, metal, concrete, or stone frames, ensuring a long-lasting, weatherproof seal.

VERSATILE USE ON VARIOUS FRAMES: Ideal for primed softwood and hardwood window frames, metal frames, and concrete or stone surrounds; must be painted for durability; not suitable for laminated or insulated glass units.

STRONG, FLEXIBLE & DURABLE FORMULA: Forms a flexible, non-cracking seal with excellent adhesion to prevent moisture ingress; easy to apply and shape, making it an essential tool for glazing and wood filling.

SEAMLESS APPLICATION & PAINTING: Apply to a clean, dry, primed rebate, press glass firmly into place, and secure mechanically; smooth fronting putty at a 2mm angle and paint within 7-21 days to ensure long-lasting performance.

HOW TO USE: Ensure the frame is clean, dry, and primed; apply putty and press the glass into position; secure with clips or pins, smooth over putty, and paint once a skin forms (within 7-21 days, with a final coat within 28 days).
