Product Description A highly durable, solvent-borne, highly translucent satin wood stain. Citole Filter 7 is a highly translucent satin exterior wood stain for windows and doors. It can be used as a maintenance coat for existing wood stain systems or over a base stain of Citole HLS on new or bare timbers. Citole Filter 7 is an exterior wood stain for windows and doors, either as a one-coat maintenance application for existing wood stain systems or two coats over a base stain of Citole HLS on new or bare timbers. Its advanced UV light absorbers provide superior protection from the damaging effects of sunlight on timber. It is not, however, suitable for decking or other areas subjected to high levels of abrasion. Directions 1. Prepare the surface: Clean and sand the wood surface to ensure it's free from dirt, grease, and old finishes. 2. Apply a thin, even coat of the stain using a brush, roller, or sprayer, following the wood grain. 3. Allow the stain to penetrate the wood for the recommended time (usually 5-15 minutes). 4. Wipe off excess stain with a clean cloth. 5. Allow the stain to dry for the recommended time (usually 24-48 hours) before applying a second coat if desired. 6. For best results, seal the stained surface with a clear sealer.
