F. DICK sharpening steel, DICK2000 fine feed: The pull on the steel determines the roughness and thus has a strong influence on the desired result. This steel is particularly suitable for butcher knives as the removal on the knife is very low, but the cutting edge is effectively erected. Shape: The extra flat shape ensures a maximum contact surface between the cutting edge and steel, this ensures the best effectiveness and the desired result is achieved particularly quickly and easily. The flat shape increases the weight, making the steel comfortable to hold. Handle: The handle is made of hygienic plastic and is joined to the pull and fittings without gaps. Thanks to its oval shape, it sits comfortably and securely in the hand at all times. The high-quality fitting not only looks good, but also protects the fingers when sharpening. Coating: In order to maintain corrosion protection and an additionally extremely hard surface, the sharpening steel is galvanically coated, this also increases the longevity many times and is another quality feature of our sharpening steels. Made in Germany. Not much has been handed down about the creation of the sharpening steel, it has been proven that we at F.DICK started the production of our sharpening steels in 1873 and can therefore rely on over 150 years of experience. This experience is also reflected in this sharpening steel made in our house - made in Germany.
