THE ART OF BLENDING : Laurie Barnard, the inovative Chairman behind the brand Chairman's Reserve, drove the idea of having a diversity of rums from different stills and aged in contrasting woods so that the blender would have a palate of maturates from which to create a great rum. By 1999 these elements were in place and the launch of a new rum – Chairman’s Reserve, Finest St. Lucia Rum – heralded the beginning of a new adventure of bringing premium Saint Lucian rum to the world.

TASTING NOTES : Rich dark amber in color, typical pot still richness comes through the aromas carried by whiffs of cooked, banana, caramelized fruits and spicy oak derived vanilla. A well balanced mid-palate provides structure around flavors of chocolate, golden raisin, tobacco and clove, which dissipates over a long creamy finish .

CHAIRMAN'S RESERVE MAI TAI : Ingredients: 1 oz. Chairman’s Reserve Rum 1 oz. Rhum Agricole ½ oz. Créole Shrubb ¾ oz. orgeat1 oz. fresh lime juice Method: Shake all ingredients with one cube and pour into glass. Top with crushed ice and garnish with Mint sprig.
