Product Description This NRS Healthcare M01278 overbed table is ideal to use all around the home, especially in the bedroom or living room. The table allows you to sit comfortably in bed or a chair with a handy table nearby. It can be used by both children and adults and is particularly helpful for wheelchair users. The table is good item for people who spend a lot of time in their bed or chair. This could be because of a lack of mobility or a recent injury or operation. It can assist eating tasks such as resting a drink, eating a meal in front of the TV or enjoying a leisurely breakfast in bed. It can help keep objects like a telephone or reading glasses close to hand and out of the way of damage. The table also tilts to 45 degrees so you can use it to hold a book or magazine at the angle for reading. When flat, it makes the surface for hobbies such as jigsaw puzzles and board games. It features integral ridges on the table edges which restrict any spillage and stop objects such as pens from rolling off. The table is made up of a tubular, coated steel frame in black along with a brown, melamine table top. The base features two tube legs that slide into position under beds and chairs that have little space in-between the bottom of the bed/chair and the floor, for example, divan style beds or armchairs. There are also two castor wheels which allow for the table to be manoeuvred without it being lifted from room to room. The height of the table can easily be adjusted between 560 and 840 mm (22 – 33 in) by unscrewing the large, easy grip, locking wheels and sliding the telescopic frame up or down to the appropriate height before tightening the wheels once again. The spacious table top measures 530 mm wide by 400 mm deep (20.75 x 15.75 inch) and can be wiped clean easily if food or drink are spilt on it. The tables maximum load weight is 5KG (11lbs).
