The safety shoe SUSAN ESD S1 is a safety sandal from the ELTEN NOVA-F series. It fulfills the performance requirements of the safety category S1 and is available in the size range 35 – 42. The padded upper edge provides for high wearing comfort and prevents painful pressure points. A padded tongue provides for high wearing comfort and prevents painful pressure points. Stepping into the shoe is being facilitated by means of an integrated heel loop. Thanks to its ESD equipment, this article is suitable when working in areas subject to electrostatic discharge and in electrostatic protected areas (EPA). The wearer’s well-being is supported by the ELTEN Air system which stabilises the stride. Furthermore, SUSAN ESD S1 is certified according to DGUV regulation 112-191. The integrated reflective material ensures good visibility in the dark, even under unfavourable weather and light conditions. The hook-and-pile fastener of SUSAN ESD S1 is comfortable, as it opens and closes quickly and easily. Microfiber is particularly light and shape-retaining. With the SUSAN ESD S1, a textile material is being used which retains ist shape, is tear-resistant, quick drying and light. A fabric lining provides for a good shoe climate. Ergonomically shaped steel toe caps protect the wearer of the SUSAN ESD S1 against impacts and pressure loadings. SUSAN ESD S1 is equipped with the exchangeable ESD inlay sole for ladies’ shoes, protecting against electrostatic discharge. A soft fleece insole equipped with ESD features is integrated in the shoe. It stands out for its excellent abrasion resistance, a good air circulation and is flexible and shape-retaining. The double-density profile sole NOVA-F is adapted to the last especially developed for women. Among other things, this sole is slip-resistant, antistatic, oil and fuel resistant and also heat-resistant up to approx. 130° C.
