Description

The Lifemax Voice Alert with Wireless Nursecall Option is a versatile fall management alarm system supplied with a magnetic clip and optional sensor mat control. This can be used as a bed, chair, wheelchair or door alarm and has a choice of 4 different alarm tones or can be used to playback a pre-recorded alert message for the user in a familiar voice to them, for example a friend or relative. If the user is addressed by a familiar voice, they are less likely to become distressed and confused than if they heard an alarm noise. The alert is activated when the magnetic pull cord on the Lifemax Voice Alert is removed from the main unit. The clip on the pull cord can be attached to the users clothes if they are in a bed, chair or wheelchair and if they were to get up, the pull cord will detach from the main unit and sound the alarm. This function can be particularly useful if the user is prone to wandering. The Lifemax Voice Alert has a choice of high or low volume or a silent mode with flashing light to show that the alarm has been triggered. There is a tamper resistant reset mode to stop the alarm signalling when the caregiver is repositioning the user. This alarm is suitable for bed or floor use when the optional sensor mat (available separately) has pressure applied on or off. The Lifemax Voice Alert is supplied ith a versatile clip and mounting bracket to position on a wall or bed and uses 4x AA batteries (not included) with a low battery warning indicator to ensure uninterrupted care monitoring. A nursecall connecting cable (available separately) connects the Lifemax Voice Alert to an existing nursecall system, allowing caregivers to receive a remote alarm signal to show that assistance is required.
