NRS Healthcare Anti-Tamper Carer Alerting Alarm

This alarm system from NRS healthcare is designed to make life easier for someone caring for a relative at home. It gives the carer peace of mind that they will be alerted if the person falls or gets up to wander around, which may be dangerous for them to do. It's useful when caring for an elderly person suffering from confusion, someone who may wander and be at risk of falls or other accident in the home, someone with a disability or mobility problems which mean they could fall and injure themselves or a person with learning difficulties. It gives the carer peace of mind that they will be alerted to any potential hazards before they occur. The alarm unit features a pull cord that can be attached to the user's clothing and which when detached, sounds an alarm. This will alert carer/s in the vicinity that the person may need assistance. The alarm can only be reset by entering a four digit key code on the main unit or via the supplied infrared (IR) remote control. This eliminates the risk of the alarm being turned off by the user without being attended to first by the carer. The device can also be used with optional Sensor Mats (sold separately) which sense when pressure is applied or removed. The Mats can be placed underneath the person or on the floor and are used to monitor if the person gets out of bed or steps onto the mat on the floor (meaning they are wandering around).
