This means that ohmic or inductive 230 V/AC loads that can be adjusted with a phase control can be smoothly adjusted in the output. Up to 400 W load, the regulator has CE approval. It can also control up to 800W loads, but then an additional suppression filter must be switched in advance. Short term (max. 3 seconds) loads up to 1600 W can also be regulated (e.g. at high starting currents for electric motors, only with extra upstream anti-interference filter). Ohmic loads are e.g. electric heaters, soldering irons etc. Inductive loads are e.g. engines with carbon brushes (e.g. kitchen machines), electric magnets, vibration tables, etc. No devices that already have built-in control electronics can be connected!
