He received Young Investigator Awards from the Office of Naval Research and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in 2013 and became OSA Fellow in 2016. His research interests include nanophotonics, super-resolution ultrafast imaging, biophotonics, metamaterials, plasmonics, energy, LEDs, and micro-/nanofabrication.
