About the Author Zhengmao Li Born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China in 1962, PhD and professor of engineering, general manager of China Telecom Group Co., Ltd, vice chairman of China Institute of Communications, board member of Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), vice Chairman of the Cross-Strait Communications Exchange Association, and member of the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) Leadership Committee. He used to be the director of the Key Laboratory of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, a member of the National 863 Program Communication Technology Theme Expert Group, and deputy general manager of China United Communications Co., Ltd.
