About the Author Dr. Rajeshree Raut Dr. Rajeshree Raut, Associate Professor, Electronics & Telecommunications, and Dean Students Affairs, Government College of Engineering, Nagpur is a graduate (1998) and post graduate (2002) from Govt. college of Engineering, Amravati and has done her Ph. D in Error Control Coding in year 2011. She has 20 years of Teaching Experience and Industrial Experience of 1.5yrs. Her achievements include , Nagpur City Mayor Award as Women Achiever, March 2019, ISTE National award for innovative Research in Engineering, 2017, ISTE National Award for Best Engineering teacher, 2013, RTM Nagpur University Best Teacher Award, 2011, IIFS New Delhi, Shiksha Ratna Award, 2011, more than 75 Research publications, 4-SCI, 20–Scopus journals,, having around 180 citations, H-index 8, i-10index 7, 5 patents published, delivered around 50 expert talks in Engineering Colleges. She has also delivered expert talks and chaired International Conferences abroad in countries like Mexico, Dubai and Malayasia. She is the Advisory and Editorial board member for many International Journals. She is currently guiding 3 research scholars. Six Research scholars have been awarded PhD under her guidance. She is the only and the first lady to represent ISTE Maharasthra & Goa Section, as SMC (Section Managing Committee). Currently she is Executive Council Member ISTE, New Delhi, She is the Fellow of IEI (Institute of Engineers India). She has authored a book on ‘Error Control Coding; For Performance Improvement in Cognitive Radio’. The Project guided by Dr. Raut, Tiled "DESIGN OF PSK SYSTEM IN COGNITIVE ENVIRONMENT", was awarded Best Engineering College Project, Award, for the Maharashtra State, Feb 2016 by ISTE. The sponsored projects successfully executed by her include projects from Amitec Electronics, Inotek Antennas Pvt. Ltd., and Cresolv Tech. Pvt. Ltd. in association with IID (Indian Institute for Drones). She is well known personality for her work in Cognitive Radio Communications. Dr. Ranjit Sawant Dr. Ranjit Sawant received his bachelor’s and master’s degree, both in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University in Kolhapur and Amravati University in 1990 and 1995 respectively. He obtained his PhD from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. He also holds an advanced diploma in Computer System Software & Analysis from Board of Technical Education Mumbai and was awarded gold medal for standing first in the order of merit. He is serving as Principal of Government Polytechnic Hingoli since july, 2018. Dr. Sawant has also worked in government polytechnic at Kolhapur and Miraj as head of Department of IT Engineering, Department of Electronics Engineering and Department of Computer Engineering. He has also served in Government College of Engineering, Amravati as lecturer for six and half years. He also has industry experience of 1.5 years as trainee engineer in Machinen Polugraph [Manu Graph], at MIDC Kolhapur. Dr. Sawant is a fellow of IEI (Institute of Engineers India) and has worked as National Executive Council Member of ISTE, New Dehli, as secretary of Maharashtra and Goa section of ISTE New Delhi. He has also served on different committees of Board of Technical Education
