About the Author Dr. Millie Pant is an Associate Professor, Department of Applied Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India. She has supervised 16 Ph.D.s in the area of numerical optimization, operations research, soft computing and swarm intelligence techniques with applications to various engineering design problems, image processing, computer vision, supply chain management. She has 181 research publications to her credit. She is PI and Co-PI in 2 DST and MHRD sponsored projects. She has edited 7 volumes of Conference Proceedings AISC series of Springer of SoCPros Conference series since 2017 and 2 volumes of Conference Proceedings AISC series of Springer of SoCTA Conference series. She is an Associate Editor in International Journal of Swarm Intelligence, Inderscience, and Guest Editor in several international journals like International Journal of Memetic Computing, Springer, International Journal of Collaborative Engineering, Inderscience.
