The project involved analyzing data collected from 10,000 research articles published in ten leading journals in the area of educational technology over 20 years, from January 1994 to December 2014; advanced analytic approaches such as latent semantic analysis; and expert insights and interpretations of the subject matter. About the Author Gloria Natividad is the Department of Academic Development´s Head, at the Technological Institute of Higher Education of Saltillo, Mexico. She earned a M.C. in Applied Technology, Training and Development and a Ph.D. in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement from the University of North Texas at Denton. She served as the Editorial Assistant of the fourth edition of the  Handbook of Research on Educational Communications and Technology, as well as of the  Encyclopedia of Educational Technology. She serves as the Editorial Assistant of the Development Section of  Educational Technology Research & Development. J. Michael Spector is a Professor of Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas.
