Product Description Since 2019, Network of ASEAN\-China Think\-tanks (NACT) has been publishing joint researches of all its Working Groups. This book is a collection of research papers contributed by ASEAN and China scholars.<\/p> This book is published at a time of growing debate in the region over connectivity. The contributing scholars provide their ingenious and insightful thoughts from either a national or regional perspective. The book also contains Working Group Report that include innovative and practical policy recommendations on strengthening the connectivity between ASEAN and China.<\/p> About the Author Dr Guo Yanjun is director of the Institute of Asian Studies at China Foreign Affairs University. As a core member of the NEAT China (Network of East Asian Think-tanks), NACT China (Network of ASEAN-China Think-tanks) and NTCT China (Network of Trilateral Cooperation Think-tanks), he has involved in a couple of track II diplomacies. He also serves as a research fellow at the Innovation Center on National Territorial Sovereignty and Maritime Rights and the Innovation Center on China's Neighboring Diplomacy. He specializes in the study of regional cooperation in East Asia and international rivers & transboundary water resources management, esp. the Lancang- Mekong river water management. He has published relevant writings and articles both at home and abroad in recent years. Dr Yang Yue received her PhD in International Relations from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She has been a Fulbright Scholar at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2008. She studies American politics and foreign policy. She has published books and a series of papers on the political process of American social movements, American electoral politics, the US foreign policy towards Asia-Pacific region. She is currently conducting researches on the US Asia-Pacific policy and cultural diplomacy. She also leads courses in ""Contemporary American Government and Policy"" and ""Approaches and Topics in American Politics"". As a member of NACT China (Network of ASEAN-China Think-tanks), she has also been actively engaging in Track II diplomacies.
