About the Author Angang Hu, a leading expert in China Studies, is a professor at the School of Public Policy and Management and Dean of the Institute of Contemporary Studies, Tsinghua University. He is a representative of the 18th CPC National Congress Committee of the13th Five Year Plan and an NDRC expert. He received the Honorable Doctorate awarded by the Russia Academy of Science’s Institute of Far East Studies.
