About the Author Lakshmi Bandlamudi is Professor of Psychology at LaGuardia Community College, City University of New York. E.V. Ramakrishnan is Professor Emeritus, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies at Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He is an authority on South Asian comparative literature, and a bilingual writer who has published poetry and literary criticism in Malayalam and English.
