Un manual integral in limba romana, care se adreseaza unui public larg, neselectat in functie de limbile straine pe care le cunoaste. PULS a fost elaborat pe baza Portofoliului European al Limbilor intocmit de Consiliul Europei pentru nivelurile A1-A2, tinindu-se cont de toate elementele necesare invatarii unei limbi straine: intelegere orala (ascultare), intelegere scrisa (citire), exprimare orala (participare la conversatie, producerea unui discurs oral), exprimare scrisa. Pachetul contine un manual, un caiet de exercitii si material audio. Manualul cuprinde 12 unitati tematice, oferind cursantului o serie de situatii de comunicare cu aplicabilitate imediata (publice, profesionale, private). Ilustratiile completeaza partea discursiva, impreuna cu care compun un vocabular ce constituie un punct de plecare pentru diverse sarcini conversationale. Sectiunile de Romana utila cuprind cuvinte si expresii relationate cu temele diferitelor unitati. Pentru rezolvarea problemelor ce pot aparea din dificultatea intelegerii discursului unor persoane cu accent diferit, a fost elaborat un material audio cu dialoguri inspirate din temele abordate in manual. Caietul de exercitii vine in completarea manualului, ajutind la fixarea cunostintelor dobindite. Daniela Kohn sustine cursuri de limba romana si limba germana la Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie "Victor Babes" din Timisoara. La Editura Polirom a mai publicat Puls.
