Bleker-van Eyk Sylvie Bleker-van Eyk (1960) is professor at the post-doctoral Executive Masters program in Compliance & Integrity Management of the VU University Amsterdam. Sylvie studied international law and Constitutional Law at the University of Tilburg (The Netherlands). She wrote her Ph.D. on the OECD Decisions & Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (1995). She is also a Senior-Director at the Forensic Services department of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Netherlands. She has ample experience in both financial industry and manufacturing, as well as the energy sector. Her expertise lies with compliance and integrity management in general and is a renowned expert on Anti-bribery and corruption, export controls, crisis management, extraterritorial jurisdiction. Direct experience with negotiation with US authorities (OFAC, BIS, DDTC, DoJ).She served on the executive C-level as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Stork (Stork Technical Services (oil) & Fokker Technologies (aviation)) and as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Ballast Nedam (construction). Sylvie is founder of the Dutch Chapter of Transparency International in 1999 and has operated in various commissions such as vice-chairman of the Dutch Investigative Board on Governmental Integrity (until 2013); chairman of the Dutch Investigative Board on Corporate Integrity (until 2014) and Chairman of the Dutch NEN working group on the ISO 19600 Compliance norm. R.A.M. Houben Raf Houben (1960) is Coordinator of and Lecturer at the post-doctoral Executive Masters program in Compliance & Integrity Management of the VU University Amsterdam. Raf studied international and commercial law at the University of Leiden and began his career as lawyer at an Amsterdam law firm. He writes a doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam as an external doctoral student. Raf is also Manager Compliance & Security at HDI Global SE, the Netherlands.
