About the Author Antonio Nogueira (http://av.it.pt/nogueira) has a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Aveiro, Portugal, being an assistant Professor since 2005. He is also a researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicacoes, being engaged to different projects on traffic measurements and modelling, traffic engineering, network security, network dimensioning and Future Internet planning/design. He has around 80 papers in international Journals and Conferences and his main research interests are in the areas of traffic engineering, network security, quality of service provisioning, innovative multimedia services and Future Internet design. Paulo Salvador (http://paulosalvador.net) graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering in 1998 and received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005, both from University of Aveiro, Portugal. In 1998, he joined Institute of Telecommunications, Aveiro, Portugal, as a researcher. He is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Aveiro. P. Salvador has been involved in multiple national and international R&D projects and served as consultant to several companies. His main research areas of interest are traffic engineering, network design, network awareness and Internet security.
