Traumatologa en pequeos animales es una obra fundamentalmente grfica cuyo objetivo es mostrar al lector una amplia variedad de fracturas con sus particularidades en las especies canina y felina, as como los procedimientos seguidos en cada caso para su tratamiento. La obra se ha estructurado en tres partes claramente diferentes. La primera, en la que el lector encontrar los fundamentos bsicos necesarios para comprender por qu cada fractura se resuelve y estabiliza de una forma concreta; una segunda parte, en la que se describen las posibles fracturas en cada hueso, su tratamiento y los diferentes sistemas de fijacin que admite; y una tercera parte, en la que se muestran casos clnicos de fracturas poco comunes que viene a completar este catlogo de fracturas, como lo ha denominado el propio autor. Sin duda, se trata de una obra eminentemente grfica con recomendaciones muy tiles en lo que respecta a los posibles tratamientos de las fracturas y que, por lo tanto, le ser de gran ayuda en su prctica diaria.
