Il presente studio è stato pianificato per costruire il coniugato del frammento Fc delle IgG di topo con il rOMP 28. Il coniugato sviluppato è stato utilizzato per studiare la cinetica della risposta immunitaria umorale e cellulare rispetto al coniugato non coniugato e al rOMP 28 da solo.Tra tutti i gruppi, il gruppo di topi immunizzati con CpG+ rOMP 28 ha indotto il più alto livello di risposta immunitaria umorale e il gruppo Brucella abortus S19 ha conferito il più alto livello di risposta cellulare, evidenziato da un'elevata concentrazione di ossido nitrico e anche dalla clearance di B. abortus 544 virulento dalla milza dopo il challenge.Il gruppo coniugato ha conferito un basso livello di risposta umorale rispetto al solo rOMP28, il che può essere dovuto alla perdita irreversibile dei recettori Fc sulla membrana plasmatica dei macrofagi e al coinvolgimento dell'inibitore FcγIIR, coinvolto nella regolazione delle risposte immunitarie.Il gruppo di ceppi di B. abortus S19 ha indotto un alto livello di protezione quando è stato sfidato con il virulento B. abortus 544, il che indica che l'organismo a cellule intere composto da vari componenti può essere coinvolto nella protezione.
