This book deals with doping and co-doping of selected Rare-Earth (RE) ions such as Samarium (Sm3+) and Dysprosium (Dy3+) ions in bismuth phosphate glasses for tunable LED applications. In this, the proposed bismuth phosphate glasses have been prepared by conventional melt quenching technique and these luminescent glasses have been analyzed through various structural and spectroscopic techniques such as XRD, SEM with EDS, FTIR, Raman, 31P NMR, Absorption, Photoluminescence, CIE Chromaticity, decay measurements, etc. I am confident that this book will be very useful for young researchers who are doing research in the area of photoluminescence.
