In der vorliegenden Studie haben wir Ba6Ti5O18-Keramiken ausgewählt, die zur Familie der kationdefizienten Perowskite gehören und deren vielversprechende dielektrische Mikrowelleneigenschaften wie hohe Dielektrizitätskonstanten, gute Qualitätsfaktoren und thermische Stabilität berücksichtigen. All diese Eigenschaften machen diese kationdefizienten Perowskit-Keramiken zu nützlichen Materialien für die Herstellung dielektrischer Resonatoren, die ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Mikrowellenkommunikationstechnologie sind. Nach eingehender Prüfung und kritischer Analyse der Ergebnisse von Substitutionsstudien, die an verschiedenen Verbindungen der Bariumtitanat-Familie durchgeführt wurden, wurde Zirkonium als Dotierstoff auf der Titanseite ausgewählt, da seine Zugabe zu Bariumtitanaten eine Änderung der Curie-Temperatur, eine spürbare Verringerung der dielektrischen Maxima, die Bildung von Kern-Schale-Körnern, die zur gewünschten Temperaturstabilität der dielektrischen Eigenschaften führen, und eine Verbesserung der dielektrischen Eigenschaften mit minimalen Auswirkungen auf die kristallographische Chemie dieser Verbindungen bewirkt. Hier haben wir Ba6(Ti1-xZrx)5O18 (0≤x≤0,25) und Ba6Ta4TixZr1-xO18 (0≤x≤0,25) durch Selbstverbrennung synthetisiert und die strukturellen, mikrostrukturellen, kompositorischen und dielektrischen Eigenschaften untersucht.
