De studie van de "inclusieve cultuur" en haar bijdrage aan de aandacht voor diversiteit is weliswaar een permanent aandachtspunt op onderwijsgebied, maar het ontbreekt nog steeds aan strategieën om dit te bereiken. Dit onderzoekswerk heeft als potentiële doelstelling de inclusieve cultuur in de onderwijsgemeenschap van de School voor Basiseducatie "Dr. Carlos Julio Pérez Perasso", door middel van het voorstel van een methodologische strategie die zoekt naar de verrijking van de inclusieve cultuur en aandacht voor de diversiteit in de instelling. De theoretische grondslagen die het onderzoek ondersteunen, worden gepresenteerd, evenals de overwegingen over het belang van de verrijking van de inclusieve cultuur in de onderwijsgemeenschap. De voor de diagnose van het onderzoek gebruikte methodologie had een kwalitatieve, exploratieve, beschrijvende en verklarende aanpak, met toepassing van individuele interviews en focusgroep voor 24 deelnemers onder ouders en leerkrachten. Uit de resultaten bleek dat de aanwezigheid van inclusieve waarden, een betere voorbereiding van de onderwijsgemeenschap op inclusie en aandacht voor diversiteit, en de voorbereiding van de leerkrachten op de planning noodzakelijk zijn.
