O presente trabalho é dedicado a um estudo abrangente dos conceitos "céu"/"Himmel" e "terra"/"Erde" nas imagens do mundo em russo e alemão. O estudo inclui a descrição de semelhanças, diferenças e o papel dos conceitos considerados nos processos de cognição mundial, cultura e vida quotidiana destas comunidades, a análise das características relacionadas das mentalidades e a determinação das razões para o surgimento de percepções típicas nacionais. Pelo exemplo de duas línguas é descrito o desenvolvimento evolutivo de conceitos antónimos, é revelada a dinâmica de formação da sua estrutura semântica moderna, são estabelecidas relações de sistema entre partes separadas do quadro linguístico do mundo, é determinada a importância dos conceitos nos processos de conhecimento e de estimativa da actividade humana. O livro é dirigido a estudantes de pós-graduação e pós-graduados especializados na área da linguoculturologia e ciência cognitiva, a aplicação de conclusões e resultados do estudo é possível no quadro do ensino de cursos de linguística cognitiva, linguoculturologia, formação de palavras, seminários especiais sobre mitologia e folclore.
