Honey as an alternative medicine: Microbiological studies on some effective types of honey

In this book, reader will recognize the importance to find alternatives to antibiotics as the rate of development of new antibiotics has severely descended and the spread of antibiotic resistant has extremely increased. The mother nature is full with natural antimicrobial agents such as honey, maggot, green tea, propolis, algae, spices, Bee venom, Snake venom, herbs……etc. Natural remedies were mentioned long time ago by some ancient civilizations and religions such as Islam, Chinese, Egyptian and Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity. The Quran states from (Chapter fourteen, Surat Al Nahel verse No.69) that the God inspired the bees to eat from all fruits so that can make a liquid with different colors and a healing effect for people. Focusing on honey in this book because hundreds of honey types have not been tested yet for their effectiveness. Most people are familiar with honey as a food, however, some types of honey have strong actions to many diseases and considered as a killing against many types of microbes.
