A través de este trabajo se aborda la construcción de un plan de marketing para una empresa de viajes y turismo del ámbito local. La importancia de este plan es la posibilidad de poder planificar sobre un contexto muy incierto y cambiante, con el propósito de dar un aporte a una industria muy afectada por la crisis iniciada en junio de 2018, profundizada en 2019 y detonada en 2020 con la pandemia del COVID 19. Motiva la investigación el interés y preocupación ante la problemática profunda que atraviesan las pequeñas y medianas empresas de nuestro país, en particular las del sector de turismo. Estas necesitan transformar su forma de organización para afrontar los grandes cambios del sector, los cuales dan origen a parte del título de este trabajo “del modelo de negocio tradicional a una agencia de viajes digital”, enfrentamientoque transformó el servicio de las agencias de viaje desde la década de los 90. La necesidad de transformación ha de tener implicancias en la práctica del sector y ha de ser contemplada en las políticas vinculadas a re impulsar la industria turística.
