Die Midline ist ein zentraler Begriff im biodynamischen Modell der kranialen Osteopathie (BOCF) nach Jealous. Für die embryologische Entwicklung des Menschen gilt die Ausbildung einer organisierenden Mittellinienstruktur als essentiell. Im BOCF geht die Bedeutung dieser Midline über die embryologische Entwicklung hinaus. Über das gesamte Leben hinweg gilt sie als Ausgangspunkt für Gesundheit, Wachstum und Selbstheilung. Obwohl das BOCF bereits seit mehreren Jahrzehnten bekannt ist und angewendet wird, wurde bisher nur wenig diesbezüglich geforscht. Das vorliegende Buch stellt neben der Theorie des biodynamischen Modells bezüglich einer Midline eine mögliche Messmethode vor, um einen Effekt einer Midline - Behandlung quantitativ messbar zu machen.
