Les législateurs français et égyptien ont modernisé leurs droits de l’arbitrage interne et international, respectivement en 1980-1981 et 1994. Concernant l’exequatur et les voies de recours contre une sentence arbitrale, les solutions adoptées par ces deux ordres juridiques sont assez proches. Néanmoins, le droit égyptien, contrairement à son homologue français, n’a pas consacré une dichotomie entre ordre public interne et ordre public international. L’auteur de cette étude s’est interrogé sur l’intérêt de l’adoption de cette dichotomie par le droit égyptien. Cet ouvrage traite principalement du droit français en tant qu’ordre juridique de référence, tout en abordant parallèlement le droit égyptien dans une perspective de droit comparé. Il couvre aussi, en tant que de besoins, les droits européens, le droit américain et les droits des pays arabes.
