Ce travail a étudié les effets de deux alcaloïdes, l’harmine et l’harmaline sur les larves de Tribolium castaneum (Coléoptères, Ténébrionidés). Nous avons analysé les effets de l’harmine, de l’harmaline et de leur mélange à différentes doses sur les paramètres du développement post-embryonnaire. Nos résultats montrent une toxicité de ces alcaloïdes de manière dose-dépendante. Puis, nous avons analysé les effets des deux alcaloïdes sur la physiologie des larves. Nous avons montré, que tous les traitements exercent un effet perturbateur sur la physiologie de T. castaneum de manière dose-réponse. Ensuite, nous avons étudié l'effet des molécules testées sur l’activité endocrine des larves. Nos résultats montrent que ces alcaloïdes réduisent significativement et de façon dose-dépendante le taux des ecdystéroïdes. Finalement, nous avons mené une étude histologique afin de détecter la cytotoxicité. Nos résultats montrent une toxicité sévère au niveau des cellules mésentérales se manifestant par des signes de la mort cellulaire. Toutes les perturbations observées sont accentuées par le traitement synergique de l’harmine et de l’harmaline.
