Description
Les processus d’adaptation au stress représentent un objet d’étude pluridisciplinaire. Dans le cadre de la réalisation d’une performance sportive, sont souvent étudiés les manifestations physiologiques, le ressenti des athlètes et plus rarement les relations qui existent entre ces deux dimensions. Néanmoins, la participation à une compétition constitue une situation de stress intense qui résulte en des changements psychophysiologiques complexes. Notre travail se propose ainsi d’étudier les processus d’adaptation au stress des matchs chez des footballeurs professionnels. Plus particulièrement, il s’intéresse aux profils psychophysiologiques de performance sur une saison de matchs, et à l’impact du statut des joueurs sur ces profils. Il valide également les modèles psychophysiologiques du stress en contexte sportif, en précisant les construits psychologiques qui entretiennent des liens avec la sécrétion hormonale. Ce travail propose ainsi une nouvelle compréhension de l’adaptation au stress des matchs chez des footballeurs professionnels, et suggère différents moyens pour optimiser la performance.
