Die Publikation versammelt Materialien, die mit Dora Budors Ausstellung Continent im Kunsthaus Bregenz (19.03.-26.06.2022) in Beziehung stehen. Das Buch beleuchtet das Projekt aus verschiedenen Perspektiven und stellt zugleich ein eigenständiges Objekt in Budors OEuvre dar. Von zentraler Bedeutung sind vier Texte, die sich der Ausstellung auf unterschiedliche Weise nähern: ein Essay von Kurator und Autor Richard Birkett, ein Textbeitrag der Autorin Amelia Groom, der Abzug eines Essays des Architekten und Historikers Robin Evans sowie ein Gespräch zwischen der Künstlerin und dem Direktor des Kunsthaus Bregenz, Thomas D. Trummer. In der Zusammenschau der Texte fügt die Publikation der fotografischen Dokumentation der Ausstellung und der Gestaltung des Buches selbst eine weitere Bedeutungsebene hinzu. Die Gestaltung fand in enger Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem in Berlin ansässigen Designstudio HIT, der Künstlerin und den Herausgebern statt. Text: Richard Birkett, Amelia Groom und Robin Evans.
