Wegsperren und das am besten für immer - Immer wieder wird, allen kriminologischen und erziehungswissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen zum Trotz, in der Presse, Politik und sogar in der Wissenschaft darüber diskutiert, ob Jugendkriminalität durch eine repressivere Vorgehensweise entgegengewirkt werden könne. Bei einer solchen Diskussion wird oft vergessen, dass solche Forderungen dem gesetzlich verankerten Erziehungsanspruch des Jugendstrafrechts diametral entgegenstehen. Dennoch, ein solches rückständiges Verständnis des Jugendstrafrechts verwundert kaum, denn bei einer näheren Betrachtung des Jugendstrafvollzugs, als härteste Sanktionsform des Jugendstrafrechts, wird deutlich, dass in dieser zur Bestrafung eingerichteten Institution, Erziehungsbemühungen allenfalls eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen.
