Dieser Band erklärt zunächst die Grundbegriffe der Gentechnik und geht dann auf die Lebensmittelkennzeichnung in der EU und den USA sowie das Freihandelsprojekt TTIP ein. Nach einem Überblick über die wichtigsten Akteure werden die Vor- und Nachteile der Grünen Revolution auf den Philippinen und in Afrika diskutiert. Am Beispiel von Mexiko werden biologische, rechtliche und sozio-ökonomische Folgen der Gentechnik erläutert.
