Description

Nodulation and nitrate assimilation in some legumes under the influence of elements of cultivation technology were tested in filed and pot experiments. Presowing treatment of seeds with insecticides was studied in soybean, spring forage pea, spring vetch and lucerne. It is an efficient and ecological means of plant protection from pests. Mineral nitrogen fertilization and manure were studied in lucerne. The optimal doses of fertilization for growing of lucerne in water deficiency stress conditions were found. The application of manure stimulates development of drought-stress tolerance in lucerne. These investigations demonstrated efficiency, agricultural and environmental importance of nodulation.
