In fact, employers' organisations (EO) are one of the most important actors in the industrial relations system of any country. To fill this gap, this book presents the concepts of employers' organisation as a major actor in the Thai industrial relations system; the legal framework of EO in Thailand; the establishment, organisation, scope of activities, and functions of EO in Thailand; the establishment, organisation, scope of activities, and functions of EO in various countries; the best alternatives for establishing, organizing, operating, and managing EO; and recommendations for the establishment, operation and management of EO in Thailand. One of the most important highlights of this book is the comparative study of the establishment, organization, scope of activities, and functions of EO in 103 countries on four continents, as classified by the International Organisation of Employers (IOE). About the Author Jamnean Joungtrakul has a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Curtin University, Australia. Dr. Jamnean is President and CEO of BLCI GROUP, a leading Thai consulting firm specialising in business law, HR and IR.
