Diplomarbeit, die am 30.12.2002 erfolgreich an einer Universit?t in Deutschland im Fachbereich Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftliche Fakult?t eingereicht wurde. Zusammenfassung: Immer mehr junge Unternehmungen erobern M?rkte, die vormals von etablierten Konzernen dominiert waren. Innovationen k?nnen verhindern, dass Konzerne langfristig von solchen Unternehmungen verdr?ngt werden. Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) stellt eine geeignete Form dar das Innovationsmanagement zu unterst?tzen. Obwohl es eng mit dem Venture Capital Finanzierungskonzept verwandt ist, stellt CVC eine f?r Unternehmen variierte Form Innovation zu sch?ren dar. Die Diplomarbeit besch?ftigt sich in einem empirischen Teil mit dem Einsatz dieses Instrumentes in einem Entwicklungsland, wo naturgem?? Innovationsaktivit?ten weniger ausgepr?gt sind. Deswegen sto?en Konzerne beim erfolgreichen Einsatz von CVC auf Hindernisse und Grenzen. Eine Analyse des Brasilianischen CVC Marktes und eine integrierte Fallstudie eines gro?en nationalen CVC Gebers offenbaren Unterschiede zu Industriel?ndern. Die gegenw?rtige Forschung, welche meist auf Industriel?nder beschr?nkt bleibt, stuft strategische CVC Aktivit?ten als sehr sinnvoll sein. Die Analyse ergibt jedoch, dass finanzielle Zielsetzungen in Brasilien ?berwiegen. Unterschiedliche Markt und Regulierungsbedingungen, Kulturunterschiede, Schwachstellen im der Makro?konomischen Umwelt, im Anreizsystem sowie andere Herausforderungen, erfordern Anpassungen beim Einsatz von CVC, um mit erh?hten Risiken besser umzugehen, unabh?ngig in welcher Phase des CVC Prozesses. Nichtsdestotrotz erscheint CVC ein geeignetes Innovationsinstrument in Brasilien zu sein und besitzt noch Entwicklungspotential.
