Kai Schröder stellt hierfür ein Hilfs- und Findmittel bei der Recherche zu dem Themengebiet Bibliotheksbau zur Verfügung. Modellhaft entwirft der Autor dabei eine Bibliothek, und erleichtert so den Einstieg in die Planungsarbeit. Dabei geht es vor allem um inhaltliche Relevanz, Aktualität und leichte Beschaffbarkeit der Quellen. Im Falle der Konzeption von Räumlichkeiten oder Einrichtung einer Bibliothek können so die wichtigsten Informationen schnell und problemspezifisch gefunden werden. Damit werden eigene Aktionen effizienter, als auch die fachliche Argumentation in Verhandlungen gestärkt. Die Arbeit richtet sich an bibliothekarisches Fachpersonal und andere an Bibliotheksbauten beteiligte oder interessierte Personen.
