From the Back Cover Der bei einer Börsentransaktion realisierte Preis ist das Ergebnis von Verhandlungen zwischen Käufer und Verkäufer. Er ist als Kompromiss zweier unterschiedlicher Wertvorstellungen zu verstehen. Die Einigung zwischen Käufer und Verkäufer erfolgt unter Beachtung der rechtlichen und institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen der jeweiligen Börse. Im Rahmen der Unternehmenswertbestimmung untersucht Christopher Casey die Determinanten der subjektiven Wertvorstellungen der Marktteilnehmer über den Unternehmenswert. Er zeigt, wie Ertragswertverteilungen bzw. aus ihnen abgeleitete Risikoprofile gewonnen werden können. Möglichkeiten zur Objektivierung von Risikozuschlägen im Risikozuschlagsmodell und marktorientierte Bewertungsmethoden werden diskutiert. Im Rahmen der Wertpapierpreisbestimmung wird untersucht, wie der Markt als Steuerungsmechanismus subjektive Vorstellungen der Marktteilnehmer in objektiv beobachtbare Preise transformiert. Im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung steht die Analyse der individuellen Intra-day-Entscheidungsprozesse der Marktteilnehmer bezüglich der Durchführung von Kauf- und Verkaufaktionen.
