Agricultural extension system is the central mechanism in the agricultural development process, both in terms of technology transfer and resource development. The development of agriculture is mostly depending upon agricultural extension system. Looking to the prevailing extension system, it is felt that there is a wide gap exist between available agricultural technology and its adoption on farmers field. Perception can be defined as a process by which individual organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to other environment. Therefore, At present various extension education programme are being implemented by State and Central Government, non-Government Organization and State Agricultural Universities and Private agencies. The success or failure of the extension system depend upon how far its clients perceived the same. The perception plays an important role for success or failure of extension system.
