It is appreciated that lot of work has been done by many crop physiologists and breeders to enhance the tolerance of crops under scarce water conditions to various levels of soil drying and nutrient stress. But the drought stress is still most important yield limiting factor, so that lot of work is still needed to cope with this challenge. The present study was conducted to identify the crop performance and to increase the yield of the wheat crop under deficit water condition by the spray of glycinebetaine (GB) and potassium (K).
