Hat die Europäische Union bereits eine Verfassung? Oder kann die Europäische Union gar keine Verfassung nach unserem Verständnis haben? Was wird aus den Europäischen Institutionen in der 27er EU? ... Diese Magisterarbeit leistet einen Beitrag zur Erschließung neuer Aspekte hinsichtlich dieser Fragen, in dem sie die Forschungsergebnisse aus einem weiteren EU-Gründungsmitgliedstaat analysiert: nämlich Italien. Ferner untersucht die Arbeit, ob sich die traditionell proeuropäische Haltung Italiens seit den fundamentalen Umwälzungen des politischen Systems in den neunziger Jahren geändert hat. Und welchen Einfluss diese Entwicklung auf den Europäischen Verfassungsprozess bis zum Semester der italienischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft hatte.
