Author emphasizes the importance of Georgia's geopolitical location and how it affects the country's political course. Author pays huge attention towards the US-Georgia relationships. Dated back to the time, when Georgia gained its first independence in 1918, these relationships had their rises and falls, but in the end, Georgia managed to identify its political course-towards the West! In early 90s, when Georgia gain independence from the Soviet Union, the United States of America became one of the closest allies of the newborn state. Author adds very thorough and detailed analysis on what role did US played in the processes that occurred in Georgia after collapsing of empire of evil "USSR".
