S. ausführlich die "übrigen" Informatiken wie Technische Informatik (bzw. Ingenieurinformatik), Medieninformatik, Medizinische Informatik und Wirtschaftsinformatik behandelt, sei es für ein Hauptfachstudium oder ein Nebenfachstudium: Ein aktueller Leitfaden für alle diejenigen, die sich angesichts einer zum Nervensystem unserer Wirtschaft entwickelten Fachrichtung über diese Studienzweige mit guten Berufsaussichten bestmöglichst informieren wollen. Seine Arbeitsgebiete sind Controlling/IS-Controlling/DV-Controlling, Software-Engineering und Aus- und Weiterbildung im DV-Bereich an Hochschulen. Er ist Vorsitzender des Fachbereichstags Informatik an Fachhochschulen (50 Mitgliedshochschulen) und Sprecher des bundesweiten Arbeitskreises Wirtschaftsinformatik an Fachhochschulen (40 Mitgliedshochschulen).
