Sie gelten u.a. der Schichtung, der Genese und den Sammelkonzepten der großen Liederhandschriften, der Autorcorpus-Bildung (Walther von der Vogelweide, Frauenlob), Problemen der Zuschreibung von Autorschaft, aufschlussreichen peripheren Überlieferungsträgern, gattungsspezifischem Töne-Gebrauch, vielfältigen Erscheinungsformen der Kontrafaktur, und decken Zusammenhänge auf, deren Kenntnis über den Einzelfall hinaus literarhistorisch relevant ist. Einbezogen sind von Fall zu Fall die romanische, lateinische, niederländische, Bild- und Melodie-Überlieferung.
