About the Author Elena G. Popkova is Doctor of economic sciences, Professor of the Chair “International economics and economic theory”, Volgograd State Technical University. Sphere of scientific interests: economic growth, sustainable development, globalization, humanization of economic growth, developing countries, institutionalization of social development, development planning, and strategic planning. She is a guest editor of Asian Social Science Journal (Canada), a member of editorial board of International Research Journal of Marketing and Journal of Macroeconomic Dynamics Research, member of editorial board of International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Countries.
