About the Author Serena Baiesi is associate professor of English Literature at the University of Bologna. Her research interests include Romantic poetry, gothic novel, Jane Austen, and slavery literature. Stuart Curran is Vartan Gregorian Emeritus Professor of English, University of Pennsylvania, and author of numerous works on P.B. Shelley and in the field of British Romanticism. He served as president of the Keats-Shelley Association of America 2007–16.
