About the Author Dr. Amit Kumar Nayak is currently working as Associate Professor at Seemanta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Odisha, India. He has earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from IFTM University, Moradabad, U.P, India. He worked as Senior Research Associate at IIT, Kanpur in a CSIR sponsored project. He has over 12 years of research experiences in the field of pharmaceutics, especially in the development and characterization of novel biopolymeric drug delivery systems. His recent research focus is the development of ceramic bone-implantable drug delivery for osteomyelitis therapy. Till date, he has authored over 113 research and review publications in various high impact peer-reviewed journals and 76 book chapters and 7 books to his credit. Overall, he has earned highly impressive publishing and cited record in Scopus Scholar ( h-Index: 34) and in Google Scholar ( h-Index: 38, i10-Index: 93). He is serving as ‘Editorial Board Member’ of journals (Current Drug Delivery and Drug Delivery Letters) and also, as the permanent reviewer of many international and national journals of high repute. Dr. Nayak has presented his research work at several conferences. He has received University Foundation Day Research Award-2019 by Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. He has qualified GATE (Pharmaceutical Sciences) in 2006. At present, he is guiding 2 PhD scholars. He has performed as examiner and paper setter in various universities. Dr. Nayak is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and a Registered Pharmacist.   Dr. Md Saquib Hasnain has over 9 years of research experience in the field of drug delivery and pharmaceutical formulation analyses, especially systematic development & characterization of diverse nanostructured drug delivery systems, controlled release drug delivery systems, bioenhanced drug delivery systems, nanomaterials and nanocomposites employing Quality by Design approaches and many more. Till date he has authored over 40 publications in various high impact peer-reviewed journals, 70 book chapters and 8 books to his credit. He is also serving as the reviewer of several prestigious journals. Overall, he has earned highly impressive publishing and cited record in Google Scholar ( h-Index: 15).
