Dans ce cinquième volume de publication des documents de la Seigneurie de Lanet, nous couvrons la période 1655-1710. La majorité des actes concerne des familles de la noblesse ou de la bourgeoisie narbonnaise. En effet, Lanet rentrera en possession de la famille DAUCERESSES de Narbone, et c'est la raison pour laquelle un certain nombre de documents la concerne, ou les familles qui lui sont alliées. Il en est ainsi de la famille DE CEREZON, dont une des filles fut mariée à Jean-Pierre Dauceresses, Consul de Narbonne et propriétaire des salins de Sigean. D'autres actes concerneront la famille DE PESCAIRE alliée également, dont une fille épousera Jean-François Dauceresses. La plupart du temps, les documents font état de querelles de succession (assignation, subrogation, testament, donation). Sur Lanet, la famille DE GRAVE règne en maître, et subit également les procédures en justice et les querelles d'héritages. Il y a très peu d'achat ou de vente dans les actes répertoriés. Enfin deux documents sont particulièrement remarquables. Le premier est le Brevet original d'enregistrement des Armoiries de Jean-François Dauceresses, réalisé par Charles d'Hozier. Le second est un Brevet de nomination de Marc-Joseph Dauceresses signé par le roi Louis XIV en personne, et scellé du sceau royal.
